“Palermo was my gateway to Europe and to the Argentine national team. For this club I will always be there”, said Javier Pastore exclusively at Torretta Café, the new talk show produced entirely by Palermo FC and presented by sports journalist Sarah Castellana: an ideal “bar” set up in the Club House located in the heart of the Palermo CFA and in close contact with the daily life of the rosanero team.
Under the pretext of chatting among friends, special guests from the worlds of sport, culture and entertainment will each start from their different connection with the rosanero colours to tell their own story, including anecdotes, curiosities and personal confidences.
The set reproduces the intimacy of an Art Café by playing with all possible art forms: museum decorations, books on the shelves, pictorial art, film and music quotations. All the design elements become part of the interviews to get to know the characters better and delve into their most hidden and curious sides.
In more than an hour of open-hearted interview, Flaco bared his emotions as never before, revealing some anticipations about his future: “I don’t have in mind to return to the pitch – admitted Javier – I think that before June 2025 I will officially announce my retirement from playing football, but I am studying to stay in this world that I love”.
The first episode of Torretta Café will premiere tonight at 9.00pm on Palermo’s official YouTube channel. The one with Pastore is only the first of a series of episodes that will be periodically announced and launched on the official channels of the rosanero club.
