Yesterday in Rome, Palermo was awarded the prize for ‘Best, Most Effective and Innovative Campaign or Awareness Raising Campaign of the Year in the Football Industry’, at the Social Football Summit Awards as part of the most important sport business event in Italy.
The ceremony was held in the prestigious Aula Giulio Cesare in Campidoglio, the hall that hosts the sessions of the Capitoline Assembly in Rome’s historic Palazzo Senatorio.
The presentation of the award to Palermo opened the official ceremony in the presence of hundreds of professionals and sector operators representing the most important clubs and institutions of Italian and international football.
The award celebrated the success of the This is where I belong marketing campaign that accompanied the launch of the new jerseys and the start of the 2024/25 season, with the aim of identifying the Rosanero passion as an ideal place to feel at home.
From New York (with the launch event of the first jersey) to Palermo, passing through Manchester and Tunisi, the protagonists of the stories directed by Riccardo Lupo and Nicola Bettoni represented the universal values linked to the club’s identity: inclusion, multiculturalism, belonging.
Among others Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Genoa received awards in different categories.
