PUMA and Palermo FC present the new Away and Third Kits that will be worn by the men's, women's and youth teams in the 2023/24 football season.
The new Away kit is an ode to modernity: the black base, enriched by an elegant tone-on-tone geometric pattern, makes an unprecedented fluorescent magenta stand out, bringing the classic pink to its maximum aggressive power, like luminous neon in the dark. The "V" neck recalls the light-dark geometric angles interspersed with very thin horizontal magenta stripes. The fluorescent details also stand out on the black shorts, which reflect the magenta socks with black details, in a fascinating game of strong color contrasts.
The new Third Kit has a white base as per tradition. But with an absolute novelty in the history of Palermo: a faceted band that cuts obliquely across the chest of the jersey with different shades of light blue, creating an idea of dynamism and shapes in movement. Alongside the dominant light blue, which incorporates the institutional colors of the City Football Group, pink and black enrich the kit with details and chromatic accents, such as in the round collar, in the corners of the shirt and shorts, in the logos and lettering.
The design of the two kits is completed by the ever-present motto #siamoaquile on the back of the neck.
As with the home kit, the new regular-fit jerseys combine 100% recycled polyester fabrics with PUMA dryCELL advanced thermoregulation technology, an improved moisture management system that ensures the perfect body temperature. The seamless design offers the latest in fit to ensure optimal performance and an ultra-lightweight jacquard structure in the back to improve breathability during intense performance, able to keep the skin dry for the full 90 minutes and more, regardless of the time, pitch and place.
The launch is accompanied by a video directed by Riccardo Lupo and Nicola Bettoni who tell the campaign motto "Together As One" with fragments of stories of fans who prepare for the match in their daily lives, in their city spaces. Stories that are intertwined with each other and with those of the players who - they too - prepare as athletes for the match. The gestures and expressions of players and fans mix and overlap in a game of references to each other: the screams, the jerseys worn, the rites (religious and superstitious). Everything converges in the moment before the match when the fans (each with their own story) gather together at the entrance to the stadium and the players (also each with their own story) come together as a single team in the locker room. The final message - Together as One - therefore celebrates unity on several levels: individual fans who become a single fan base, individual players who become a single team, players and fans who become one: Palermo.
