Palermo's communication agency, in cooperation with the team, wins the prestigious communication award for the implementation of the new logo and the entire design project
Not only the new logo, but the entire project for the new corporate image of the Pink-Black company, from the shirts to the gadgets to the institutional materials. As a result, Gomez & Mortisia which is an integrated communication agency of Palermo, in conjunction with the communication and marketing team of Palermo, has won the "Agorà d'Argento" award, one of the most prestigious in the sector on a national level.
This work began in June 2019, just in time to be included in a few weeks within the project presented to Mayor Leoluca Orlando by Hera Hora Srl, as required by the municipal call for proposals concerning the birth of the new Palermo. Hence the need for a new brand which would take up the legacy of a historical tradition and relaunch the image of Palermo with a perspective of development, internationalization and diffusion also outside the strict soccer track. The brand would have a strong influence from the fashion and design field, with an international scope.
A delicate task, but with essential reference points: the figure of the eagle - appropriately modernized in simple and stylized forms - and the social colors, pink and black, symbol of a historical belief. Hence, the development of a 360° coordinated image, which has affected not only the company's corporate identity, but also the team's jerseys, uniforms and all the official merchandising, including helmets, swimwear, scarves, flags, gadgets and home and leisure items.
A large and complex project, now also recognized thanks to the "Agorà d'Argento", the prize organized by the Marketing Managers Club and awarded by a jury made up of representatives of trade associations, institutions and sponsoring media, and chaired by the President of the Salvatore Limuti Prize.

The award is in addition to the rich palmarès of the Gomez & Mortisia agency, which includes another 15 "Agora d'Argento", 1 "Agora d'Oro" and 1 Platinum. The project dedicated to the logo and corporate image of Palermo is visible in the agency's portfolio.
