Eugenio Corini appointed new Palermo manager

Palermo FC announces that they have entrusted the technical guidance of the first team to Eugenio Corini. The coach from Brescia thus returns to the Rosanero family after 4 years as a player and captain (2003-2007) and a brief experience on the bench (2016-2017).

Corini has signed a two-year contract with the club and is expected in Palermo as early as today. He will be presented to the press on Tuesday, 9 August at 12.15pm, in the press room of the Renzo Barbera stadium (access reserved for journalists already in possession of the club's seasonal conference accreditation, according to the usual procedures).

The City Football Group, President Mirri and the entire Rosanero family wish to thank coach Stefano Di Benedetto for the excellent work he has done and the great willingness he has shown over the last few days, and to give a warm welcome home to the 'Genius', who will be at work as early as Monday.
