All Palermo players and members of the staff received the vaccine against Covid at Renzo Barbera stadium today, while the preparations for the imminent departure of the team for the rosanero training camp in Campania still continue.
Palermo's ASP, which also began an extensive vaccine campaign in schools last week, has sent a team of doctors, nurses and administrative staff to the stadium, with the collaboration of rosanero medical staff, under the guidance of health manager Roberto Matracia, and the medic of the first team Giuseppe Puleo. After the administration of the dose to the players, they were given the certificate with the QR code, which is necessary to receive the Green Pass.
"Palermo's Asp goes towards the citizens, meeting them in the province centers, gathering points, schools, and now also in sports facilities" - underlined the general Manager of Palermo's Asp, Daniela Faraoni - "We have promptly responded to the request of the rosanero team, and we wish for the players' example to be followed by many fans. Only through vaccination we will be able to fill the stadiums once more, and support our heart's team. Our hope is for the matches not to be attented in closed doors anymore, but with a numerous, colorful, and passionate presence of the fans. In order to live a complete and immersive show, it is necessary to get vaccinated to reach collective immunity as soon as possible".
"The collaboration with Palermo's ASP, to which our best regards go to, is a concrete demonstration of the fact that only through synergy we can face the pandemic. Palermo players are a point of reference for an entire community of fans and citizens: their example can and should be a contribution to the promotion of the vaccine campaign in the interest of all", stated the CEO of Palermo Rinaldo Sagramola.
Palermo's health department is available to reach, with its own mobile vaccine structures, all the sports facilities which practice physical activities with young people aged 12 or older. It will only be necessary to send an email to vaccinazionidiprossimita@asppalermo.org. After that you will be contacted by ASP's staff, who will agree on a date and method of intervention.
