On January 24th, 1932 the doors of “Littorio Stadium” were opened for the first time. The first historic center which would eventually become the eternal house of all Palermitan fans: the Favorita stadium, Renzo Barbera. That day the match Palermo-Atalanta was played, in Serie B, 5-1 for the rosaneri: a few thousand spectators were able to attend, sitting in the “popular grass” next to the field, where now the big stands are located. Today, these stands around the green field has more than 36 thousand seats and, outside of the stadium, you can find hundreds of thousands of fans across Italy and around the world, thanks to the Palermitan community abroad, one of the biggest, thanks to big mass migration after the war, and because of so many young people who decide to specialize, study, and work away from home.
To celebrate the anniversary of the foundation of Barbera, Palermo and Eleven Sports have decided to give a present to those fans abroad who, thanks to live streaming, can feel like they are sitting at their beloved stadium, which blows the 90 candles on Monday. For the occasion, actually, to all the fans abroad who make the request, free codes will be given to them to follow Palermo matches for one month, right at the beginning of the second half of the season, full of intense challenges you can’t miss. The codes will be available to activate only outside of the Italian territory, all over the world.
To request the codes you need to register on the official Palermo app, available on Play Store and App Store, and write an email to comunicazione@palermofc.com, with your name, last name, phone number, and the email address used for the registration on the Palermo app. Once the information and the registration have been verified, the communications office will answer the email with the codes you can use directly on elevensports.com and immediately start watching Palermo matches for free. Until the 28th of February it will be possible to request the codes which will guarantee one free month starting from the day of the activation.
